Associate Dean of Business

Join the SUNY Geneseo community as an Associate Dean of Business, a key leadership position in the School of Business. As a member of the Dean's Office, you will play a vital role in shaping the academic and administrative direction of the school.
Key Responsibilities:- Oversee course scheduling, ensuring optimal faculty deployment and efficient use of resources.
- Collaborate with faculty members to update and develop curriculum and programs, ensuring currency and relevancy.
- Lead the Business Excellence program and coordinate student advising, resolving major student issues.
- Serve as a leader of the school's assurance of learning activities and co-chair the AoL committee.
- Represent the School on College-wide committees and attend events as a representative of the Dean's Office.
- A terminal degree (PhD, DBA, or JD) in a business-related discipline from an accredited university.
- A solid teaching, research, and service record sufficient to merit appointment as a tenured associate professor or full professor in the School of Business.
- Strong communication and team-building skills, with the ability to collaborate collegially with diverse stakeholders.
- A record of progressive leadership in roles such as program coordinators or department chairs.
- Experience with student learning outcome assessment and course scheduling.
- Merit appointment as a tenured full professor in the School of Business.
