Gastroenterology Office Nurse

We are seeking a skilled Office Nurse to join our Gastroenterology team at Murfreesboro Medical Clinic. As an Office Nurse, you will provide nursing support for our Gastroenterology department and work collaboratively with our clinical and nonclinical staff to achieve patient-centered care.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide nursing support for Gastroenterology or clinic-wide, as requested
- Represent MMC in a courteous and professional manner
- Greet guests and incoming calls in a polite, prompt, and helpful manner
- Be at your workstation on time and prepared to start the day
- Provide prompt, efficient, and accurate patient service
- Meet or exceed patient, doctor, and staff expectations through a cooperative, teamwork approach
- Completion of Medical Assistant educational program, CNA program or LPN License
- Experience preferred but not required
- Current CPR certification
Work is performed in an office setting and involves frequent telephone contact, as well as face-to-face communication with patients. Interactions with others in constant and interruptive. There is possible exposure to communicable diseases, toxic substances, bodily fluids, and other conditions common to medical practice.
