Job Title: Office Nurse (MA/CNA) - Gastroenterology

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Office Nurse (MA/CNA) to join our Gastroenterology team at Murfreesboro Medical Clinic. As an Office Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our clinical staff in delivering high-quality medical services.

Job Summary:

The Office Nurse (MA/CNA) will be responsible for providing nursing support for the Gastroenterology department, including preparing patients for exams and procedures, administering injections, and maintaining accurate medical records. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team and contribute to the delivery of exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide nursing support for the Gastroenterology department, including preparing patients for exams and procedures
  • Administer injections, including subcutaneous, intramuscular, intradermal, and intralesional injections
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, including patient intake, lab results, and medication administration
  • Assist with scheduling and coordinating patient appointments and procedures
  • Communicate effectively with patients, providers, and other healthcare team members to ensure seamless care delivery
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes
Requirements:
  • Completion of a Medical Assistant educational program, CNA program, or LPN License
  • Current CPR certification
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
