About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at Spring Mill Health Campus. As an LPN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of direct care providers to ensure the proper execution of medications and treatments, documentation, teaching, care planning, and patient care conferencing in compliance with Health Campus Policies and Procedures.
  • Visit residents on your assigned unit daily to observe and evaluate their physical and emotional status.
  • Assist in monitoring the inventory of medications, medical supplies, and equipment to ensure an adequate supply is available to meet the needs of our residents.
  • Monitor nursing assistants to ensure established procedures are followed for the use and disposal of personal protective equipment.
  • Help residents maintain independence, promote dignity, and physical safety.
  • Practice good standard care precautions of cleanliness, hygiene, and health.
  • Greet and assist all internal and external customers, guests, family members, residents, vendors, and team members.
Requirements
  • Strong interpersonal skills, especially when delivering sensitive information to patients and/or families.
  • Ability to think critically under pressure.
  • Must have and maintain a current, valid RN/LPN license.
  • Possess leadership and supervisory ability and the willingness to work harmoniously with and supervise other personnel.
  • Be able to make independent decisions concerning job duties.
  • Possess the ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel, vendors, and the general public.
  • Be knowledgeable of nursing and medical practices and procedures, as well as laws, regulations, and guidelines that pertain to long-term care.
Work Schedule
  • 8-hour shifts
  • 2 FT and 1 PT Evening shift availability
  • Rotating Holiday Schedule
  • Weekend availability
