Job Overview:


The Electronics Test Technician is responsible for establishing testing setups and executing evaluations of electronic assemblies and units in accordance with established methods, procedures, standards, and sequences. This role involves the layout and assembly of units for production electronic equipment based on detailed designs and specifications.

Calibration and adjustments of systems are performed as necessary.
In the event of malfunctions, the technician will make adjustments or replace parts or components as instructed.
Utilization of hand tools, small power tools, and various measuring and testing devices is essential in fulfilling job responsibilities.

Determining the types of tests to be conducted, approving and suggesting enhancements to testing equipment, and analyzing test outcomes to assess product and equipment performance are key duties.

Collaboration with engineers in the design and development of testing procedures for new products is expected, along with recommendations for product enhancements or manufacturing modifications.
Quality monitoring and verification may be conducted in line with statistical process or other control procedures.
Component-level troubleshooting is a critical aspect of this role.
The technician will utilize schematic diagrams to identify failures in both Analog and Digital circuitry.
A robust understanding of Solid State devices and micro-circuitry is required.

This position operates within a dynamic production environment, necessitating the ability to maintain high productivity levels in support of customer timelines.

Proficiency in the use of various measurement instruments, including Digital Multi-meters, Oscilloscopes, Network Analyzers, frequency Standards, signal generators, and RF Power Meters, is essential.


Basic Qualifications :
1 year of relevant experience
Expertise in component-level troubleshooting of solid state, digital, and RF circuits.
Ability to utilize Microsoft Suite and other data collection software to accurately document maintenance activities.
Experience with flying probe/high power testing.

Desired Skills :
Experience in RF Testing
Familiarity with Radar Systems

Typical Minimums :
High School diploma or equivalent experience/combined education, along with additional specialized technical training equivalent to a technical Associate degree and/or demonstrated capability to perform assigned technical/para-engineering tasks and 1 Year of experience
