Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Electronic Assembler and Solder Technician to join our team at Butler America Aerospace, LLC. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for assembling and soldering electronic components using various techniques and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble and solder electronic components using IPC 610 and IPC-J-STD standards
  • Use microscopes to verify correct part placement and orientation, and perform post-re-flow inspection and touch-up
  • Identify and touch up poor wetted solder joints, solder voids, and other solder defects
  • Read instructions and identify standard SMT components
  • Work in a fast-paced environment with some overtime required
  • Sit for long periods of time and focus on tedious tasks
  • Experience using rework equipment such as hot air pencils, hot plates, and BGA removal
  • IPC-610 and IPC J-STD-001 certifications are required
Preferred Qualifications
  • Familiarity with Automated Optical Inspection (AOI) equipment
  • Experience running, soldering, and tacking down jumper wires on re-design boards
