Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Education Coordinator Radiology to join our team at WVU Medicine. The successful candidate will be responsible for administering the clinical component of the Radiography program, ensuring accreditation and institutional compliance. This role requires strong leadership and supervision skills, as well as the ability to develop and implement effective instructional methodologies and curriculum.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer the clinical component of the Radiography program to assure accreditation and institutional compliance.
  • Provide leadership and supervision for the clinical instructors and clinical staff.
  • Develop and implement effective instructional methodologies and curriculum.
  • Provide didactic instruction in radiography as required by current course offerings, curriculum changes, and professional standards.
  • Maintain and develop a clinical master plan and other documentation which identifies and supports the program's mission.
  • Actively participate in patient care and imaging procedures to maintain professional and clinical skills.
  • Utilize various mechanisms for accurate outcome assessment and programmatic evaluation.
  • Provide input into the development and utilization of the Radiology Education cost center budget.
  • Develop and implement a clinical assessment plan for evaluation of the Radiography program.
  • Participate in departmental and organizational meetings, task forces, projects, and committees.
Requirements
  • Graduate of a JRCERT accredited program in Radiologic Technology.
  • Baccalaureate degree in Education, Radiologic Sciences, or related field.
  • Holds an active American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (A.R.R.T.) certification in Radiography.
  • Holds an active license from the West Virginia, or applicable state, Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy Board of Examiners.
  • Two (2) years' experience in the Radiology discipline.
  • Two (2) years' experience as an instructor in a JRCERT accredited Radiography Program.
