MultiCare Health System is in search of a Monitor Technician to join our dedicated team.

Position Overview

The Monitor Technician plays a crucial role in delivering exceptional patient care through effective monitoring and communication. This position is ideal for individuals who excel in communication and enjoy being a vital link in patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform receptionist and communication tasks within the patient care unit.
  • Monitor telemetry and identify cardiac dysrhythmias.
  • Assist in delivering care to patients from various backgrounds.
  • Utilize independent decision-making skills and strong interpersonal abilities.
  • Collaborate with the Clinical Director and charge nurse to ensure optimal patient care.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
  • Completion of an accredited Health Unit Coordinator training program and basic arrhythmia course is preferred.
  • One year of experience in patient care is preferred.
  • One year of clerical experience in a healthcare environment is preferred.
  • On-the-job training will be provided, including rhythm identification training and EKG telemetry competency assessment.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes competitive salary, medical, dental, and retirement plans, as well as paid time off. The compensation range for this position is $27.44 USD, influenced by factors such as experience and qualifications.
