Cardiac Monitor Specialist

MultiCare Health System is in search of a Monitor Technician to join our dedicated team.
Position OverviewThe Monitor Technician plays a crucial role in delivering exceptional patient care through effective monitoring and communication. This position is ideal for individuals who excel in communication and enjoy being a vital link in patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Perform receptionist and communication tasks within the patient care unit.
- Monitor telemetry and identify cardiac dysrhythmias.
- Assist in delivering care to patients from various backgrounds.
- Utilize independent decision-making skills and strong interpersonal abilities.
- Collaborate with the Clinical Director and charge nurse to ensure optimal patient care.
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- Completion of an accredited Health Unit Coordinator training program and basic arrhythmia course is preferred.
- One year of experience in patient care is preferred.
- One year of clerical experience in a healthcare environment is preferred.
- On-the-job training will be provided, including rhythm identification training and EKG telemetry competency assessment.
