About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled AWS Systems Development Engineer to join our team at Amazon Development Center U.S., Inc. in Seattle, WA.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop scalable, secure, and efficient cloud-based systems using AWS services.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements.
  • Develop and maintain high-quality code, following AWS best practices and coding standards.
  • Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment of software changes.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in a timely and efficient manner.
Requirements
  • 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
  • Experience programming with at least one modern language such as C++, C#, Java, Python, Golang, PowerShell, or Ruby.
  • Knowledge of systems engineering fundamentals, including networking, storage, and operating systems.
  • 1+ years of designing or architecting new and existing systems experience.
  • Current, active US Government Security Clearance of TS/SCI with Polygraph.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with PowerShell, Python, Ruby, or Java.
  • Experience working in an Agile environment using the Scrum methodology.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines build processes.
  • Experience in automating, deploying, and supporting large-scale infrastructure.
  • 5+ years of administrative experience in networking, storage systems, operating systems, and hands-on systems engineering experience.
