Job Summary

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the night warehouse team to achieve safety, service, and cost targets.
  • Develop and implement processes to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
  • Oversee the maintenance of the physical condition of the warehouse and its equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA requirements and food safety standards.
  • Collaborate with Warehouse Managers to achieve operational goals.
  • Monitor and analyze operational data to identify areas for improvement.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of five years of experience in warehouse supervision.
  • Broad knowledge of warehouse operations, methods, and procedures.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and people development skills.
  • Ability to interpret financial and operational data.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and warehouse management systems.

Work Environment:

The work takes place in normal warehouse environments as well as in cooler and freezer areas where temperatures may be as low as -5 degrees.

Travel:

10% travel required, typically for mandatory meetings and/or training.

Education/Training:

High school diploma or GED required; college degree preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • HACCP certification a plus.
  • PCQI certification a plus.

Physical Qualifications:

The job requires occasional standing, walking, driving, and lifting up to 100 pounds.
