Overview:
The Loan Servicing Specialist I plays a crucial role in managing various loan servicing tasks.

This position involves preparing documentation for both consumer and commercial loans, processing adjustments to loan records, and ensuring the accuracy and completeness of all related data within the core processing system.


Key Responsibilities:
The following duties are essential to the role, with additional tasks assigned as necessary.

1. Manage and execute automated loan payment transfers, process payments, and address general inquiries.

2. Review and verify file change requests for accuracy and compliance with policies before entering them into the core processing system.


3. Ensure that the Bank's core processing system accurately reflects the terms and conditions of all loan onboarding documents, adhering to Bank policies.


4. Onboard and review loan transactions, maintaining precise coding, alignment with loan agreements, and balanced records.

5. Prepare and distribute daily reports, notices, and relevant database information to team members.

6. Conduct various account and process reconciliation tasks on a daily and monthly basis.

7. Monitor loan activity and respond promptly to credit inquiries and disputes.

8. Assist with the analysis, disbursement, balancing, and posting functions of escrow accounts.

9. Conduct necessary research and provide professional responses to inquiries from both internal and external customers.


10. Prepare loan documentation for commercial and consumer loans, ensuring all necessary paperwork is collected, approvals obtained, and compliance requirements met.


11. Engage in discussions focused on process improvement to identify efficiencies in workflow and enhance quality.

Qualifications and Skills:

Education/Experience:
High School diploma or equivalent.

Experience in data entry or a professional office environment is preferred.

4. Proficient in responding to common inquiries or complaints from customers, colleagues, or vendors.
