Key Responsibilities:

  1. Route Planning: Develop and implement daily routing plans to optimize delivery schedules and minimize delays.
  2. Truck Operations: Ensure the safe and secure operation of company vehicles, including regular inspections and maintenance.
  3. Team Supervision: Supervise and train truck helpers, providing guidance and support to ensure they meet performance expectations.
  4. Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, responding promptly to customer inquiries and resolving any issues that may arise.
  5. Logistics Support: Assist with loading and unloading of trucks, as well as providing support to other logistics team members as needed.
  6. Adherence to Policies: Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, including safety protocols and regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Working Conditions:

This is a full-time position, working a standard Monday-Friday schedule. The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced environment, with frequent exposure to changing weather conditions and varying temperatures.
