We look forward to hearing from you. **Job Summary** Cooper Auto Group is seeking an experienced reconditioning technician for our Midwest City location. This is an hourly paid position that requires a strong mechanical background and excellent communication skills. **Responsibilities**
  • Perform routine service inspections and complete standard maintenance and repair jobs
  • Repair automobiles and light trucks as assigned
  • Maintain cleanliness of vehicles while performing service or repairs
  • Ensure required documentation is complete and in compliance with regulations and standards
  • Help maintain shop appearance and safety standards and ensure the shop runs efficiently by performing duties such as inventory stocking and other general functions
  • Follow all shop policy, procedure, safety, and environmental rules
  • Attend all staff meetings, training, and educational classes as required
  • Perform other duties as assigned
**Qualifications**
  • Post-secondary automotive training or equivalent work experience preferred
  • One year of dealer-level or large facility experience preferred
  • Broad scope of automotive mechanical/electrical knowledge
  • Unrestricted driver's license and clean driving record
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to interact professionally with teammates and staff
  • Highly professional and dependable
  • Safety and customer service oriented
  • Basic computer and internet skills
  • Able to bend, kneel, squat, stand, and lift heavy objects as needed
