Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Property Manager to join our team at JKL Corporation. As a key member of our property management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of our properties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leasing and Marketing
    • Generate work orders and monitor repair status
    • Process applications and run credit reports
    • Assist in the collection of rental payments and manage delinquent accounts
    • Provide professional customer service to residents and guests
    • Create, file, and maintain all tenant files
    • Schedule and conduct tours for prospective residents
  • Administrative and Operations
    • Perform other administrative tasks necessary to manage the day-to-day operations
    • Ensure the property is well-maintained and in good order
    • Perform property and unit inspections to identify maintenance issues
    • Prepare move-in packets, lease agreements, and application packets
  • Staff Management and Communication
    • Manage staff, vendors, and contractors
    • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure seamless operations
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • High school graduate or equivalent with training in leasing, management, or related activities preferred
    • 5+ years' administrative/directional experience in a property management business environment

    • Must possess strong computer skills with Microsoft Windows, Gmail, Outlook, Word, and Excel
    • Must have reliable transportation, a valid California driver's license, and proof of insurance
    • Must be able to read English at a level sufficient to understand label instructions and warnings, write English at a level to write professional-looking notes to coworkers and residents, and speak English at a level to effectively communicate with residents, coworkers, and vendors
