Job Description:

Job Summary

  • Manage and maintain facility drawings, including building floorplans and associated disciplines, ensuring accuracy and compliance with NY CREATES standards.
  • Perform new CAD development and support the Document File Retrieval System, maintaining organized documentation.
  • Oversee facility documents for the Albany Nanotech Complex and tenants, ensuring timely communication and distribution.
  • Review construction drawings to ensure adherence to NY CREATES document control standards.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to distribute facility drawings and application files, facilitating modifications and updates.
  • Transfer historic facility drawings into electronic formats and implement archival processes.
  • Maintain tool install packages and retrieve documents upon request, ensuring efficient documentation.
  • Collaborate with Facilities Engineers to develop Process Flow Diagrams for building and site systems.
  • Support Facilities Engineering with CAD design and provide guidance on software adoption.
  • Understand design symbology and drafting techniques for facility development, adhering to US National CAD Standards.
  • Assist with coordination of Closeout Documents between General Contractors and NY CREATES.
  • Finalize turnover documentation for construction projects, ensuring complete as-built data and contractor payment.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.


Requirements:

Minimum Requirements

  • Associate's degree in CAD design or related field from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a CAD-trained individual in facilities engineering.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong communication, organization, and conceptual skills.
  • Ability to work individually and in teams on various projects and tasks.

Preferred Requirements

  • Proficiency in Revit, Procore, and/or Bluebeam.
  • Experience working at a major semiconductor manufacturer or supplier to the industry.

Salary Range: $28.85- $38.46/ hour
