Job OverviewThis role involves supporting multiple NIH-funded initiatives within the Arnold Childhood Obesity Initiative, concentrating on enhancing dietary habits, increasing physical activity, and improving sleep quality among children to positively influence their weight management.
Key responsibilities encompass participation in the execution of behavioral clinical trials, preparation of research manuscripts and grant proposals, data analysis, and delivering scientific presentations at both regional and national forums. Additionally, the candidate will seek and apply for research funding opportunities and undertake related tasks.
Required QualificationsPh.D. in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, Public Health, Behavior Change, or a closely-related field. Candidates who are ABD are encouraged to apply. The selected individual must provide proof of degree completion prior to the commencement of employment.

The candidate should possess strong computer and verbal communication skills, along with robust data analysis capabilities and expertise in children's physical activity research. Proficiency in both spoken and written English is required.
