Job Summary:

Orlando Ballet is seeking a highly skilled Database Administrator to oversee all facets of database management, revenue management, and consumer data. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to supporting the organization's mission.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee database administration for all departments, including ticketing, development, and school
  • Manage and maintain organization-wide standards within Tessitura
  • Develop and document best practices for Tessitura, customer service, and business relations
  • Research, plan, implement, and troubleshoot Tessitura upgrades and product updates
  • Communicate with Tessitura Support and Extended Services to facilitate problem-solving and consultation on system issues and advancements
  • Maintain current knowledge of security practices and PCI compliance
  • Create and maintain data analytics dashboards
  • Oversee product functionality within Tessitura e-commerce site (TNEW) for all ticketing and donation products
  • Provide Tessitura resources to staff to help guide organizational business systems
  • Oversee all aspects of ticketing builds, including subscription management and event setup, to optimize revenue potential

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in ticketing software (e.g. Tessitura) and familiarity with industry best practices and emerging trends
  • Proven experience within database and CRM management, audience services, revenue management, consumer insights, or marketing, preferably in the arts or entertainment industry
  • Analytical, and consumer research skills, with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and develop actionable insights
  • Excellent communication (written and verbal), problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays as required
  • Bachelor's degree in Arts Administration, Business Management, or related field (preferred)
