Job Summary

Leidos is seeking a highly skilled and motivated ASW Analyst/Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our High Fidelity Simulation Business Area, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing large-scale System of Systems solutions in support of world-class simulation, training, and analysis products for the US Navy.

You will work closely with government customers, fleet end-user personnel, internal engineers, and external development team members to coordinate trainer development. Your responsibilities will include system engineering, program execution tracking, integration and test activities, and working with Navy schoolhouse personnel for trainer installation and operation.

This is a unique opportunity to work with state-of-the-art technology and develop sophisticated trainers for the US Navy. You will be part of a high-powered and supportive team, performing vital work that has a major impact within the US Navy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop large-scale System of Systems solutions for the US Navy
  • Work with government customers and fleet end-user personnel to coordinate trainer development
  • Perform system engineering, program execution tracking, and integration and test activities
  • Work with Navy schoolhouse personnel for trainer installation and operation
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in a technical field, with an ASW related officer tour
  • 5+ years of submarine and US Navy experience in Undersea Warfare as a submarine officer
  • Subject matter expertise in ARCI or AN/BQQ-10 Sonar system operations
  • Ability to learn and apply new skills, and share expertise with the team to improve development capabilities
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience in program support, software development/testing, configuration management, and/or technical writing
  • Information assurance experience
  • Experience with Agile development and Atlassian products
  • Comfortable working directly with software developers and conducting software testing
