About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Beauty Brand Expert to join our team at Macy's. As a key member of our Beauty department, you will be responsible for driving sales and service excellence, inspiring teamwork, and elevating the customer experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute strategies to drive sales growth and customer engagement
  • Recruit, train, and coach associates on product knowledge, sales techniques, and customer service skills
  • Establish strong relationships with customers, vendors, and store leadership to achieve sales goals and execute company events
  • Analyze business performance and create strategies to exceed daily, weekly, monthly, seasonal, and annual goals
  • Lead product demonstrations, peer-to-peer training, and merchandise new receipts, process damages, and select merchandise to return to vendors
Requirements
  • Leadership: Proven ability to lead a team effectively, providing guidance, support, and coaching to drive performance and engagement
  • Subject Matter Expertise: Proficiency in vendor line and beauty trends, serving as a knowledgeable resource in this area
  • Analytical Skills: Capability to utilize metrics and analyze detailed reporting to develop action plans for achieving sales goals
  • Communication: Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to facilitate open and continuous communication within the team and across functional lines
  • Interpersonal Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues at all levels and across departments
