About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Behavior Support Specialist to join our team at FullBloom. As a Behavior Support Specialist, you will play a critical role in supporting students with intensive behavioral needs in a special education setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement behavior support plans to promote positive behaviors and reduce challenging behaviors in students.
  • Work one-on-one with assigned students to meet goals set forth in their individualized education plan (IEP).
  • Assist in the development and modification of behavior support plans to ensure they are tailored to the unique needs of each student.
  • Utilize evidence-based behavior support and intervention strategies to promote student success.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure consistent implementation of behavior support plans.
  • Provide personal care support to students as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and guardians to ensure they are informed and involved in their child's education.
