Job Summary:

Molson Coors Beverage Company is seeking a skilled EST Mechanical Technician to join our Packaging Maintenance team at the Coors Brewery in Golden, Colorado. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our production facility, enabling us to produce high-quality beer for our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Troubleshoot and repair equipment issues, including corrective adjustments, timing changes, modifications, and parts replacements to improve production efficiency.
  • Develop into an equipment subject matter expert on assigned categories of packaging equipment, understanding the complete equipment strategy and leading maintenance, troubleshooting, and reliability efforts.
  • Collaborate with Maintenance Planners to reduce unplanned downtime, identify necessary improvements to equipment and preventative maintenance plans, and participate in Root Cause Analysis.
  • Provide technical support to the manufacturing techs, plant engineering, and contractors for capital projects, and serve as a resource for the Production team, Instrumentation Controls Electricians, and Quality team to solve recurring problems.
  • Identify system or equipment deficiencies, initiate modification processes, and update prints, programs, equipment manuals, and other documentation to ensure successful changes are implemented on like equipment.
  • Contribute to a safe workplace by performing tasks in a safe manner, demonstrating the use of safety equipment, and adhering to Lock Out/Tag Out/Try Out safety rules, codes, policies, and regulations.

Requirements:
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Experience with fabrication of parts using basic shop tools, welding (Stick/TIG/MIG) ability is a plus.
  • Ability to read and understand manual and drawings.
  • Capacity to work in a team environment.
  • Routine lifting of 50 pounds is normal practice.
