Job Summary

R&J Cylinder and Machine is seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to join our team. As a key member of our machine shop, you will be responsible for operating CNC milling machines and lathes, machining components according to work instructions or blueprints, and performing simple machine set-ups.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate CNC milling machines and lathes to machine components
  • Machine components according to work instructions or blueprints
  • Perform simple machine set-ups
  • Adjust offsets as needed to compensate for tooling/insert wear
  • Understand verbal and written work instructions
  • Use basic hand tools for performing job functions
Work Environment

Our machine shop is a fast-paced environment where you will work with a team of experienced professionals. We offer a clean and well-equipped workspace, with opportunities for growth and development.

Benefits
  • Day Shift: Monday through Friday, 6am to 2:30pm
  • Night Shift: Monday through Thursday, 8pm to 6am, with a $4.00 an hour shift differential
  • Overtime as required
