About the Role

This is an intermediate-level position that requires a strong background in mechanical and electrical systems. As a Mechanic III, you'll be responsible for performing a variety of skilled tasks, including setup, maintenance, and repair of production equipment. You'll work independently to diagnose and troubleshoot issues, and collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine preventive maintenance on mechanical and electrical equipment, including inspections and lubrication of moving parts.
  • Diagnose and repair complex issues with production equipment, using hand tools, portable power tools, and machine tools as needed.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement process improvements, and participate in Continuous Improvement teams to drive innovation and efficiency.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, and stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices.
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues, supervisors, and vendors to ensure smooth operations and resolve issues promptly.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; technical certification preferred.
  • Minimum three years of combined training and experience in similar positions in Maintenance and Manufacturing environment.
  • Proficient knowledge of mechanical and fabrication skills, as well as industrial, electrical, and administrative skills.
  • Working knowledge of Windows Office and enterprise resource planning systems, such as JDE.
  • Fluent English skills to read and understand complex maintenance manuals, safety procedures, and communicate with colleagues and vendors.
