Speech-Language Pathologist Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Speech-Language Pathologist to provide high-quality services to individuals with speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders in the Desert Hills, AZ area.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assessment and Diagnosis: Conduct comprehensive evaluations of clients' speech, language, communication, and swallowing abilities, and develop accurate diagnoses and treatment plans.
  • Treatment Planning: Create and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each client's specific goals and needs, using evidence-based practices to guide therapeutic interventions.
  • Therapeutic Interventions: Provide direct therapy services to clients, utilizing effective techniques to improve speech clarity, language development, communication effectiveness, and swallowing function.
  • Client and Family Education: Educate clients and their families about speech and language disorders, treatment options, and strategies for supporting progress at home.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure a coordinated and comprehensive approach to client care.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed records of client evaluations, treatment plans, progress notes, and therapy sessions.
Qualifications:
  • Education: Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Licensure: Valid Texas state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (or eligibility to obtain licensure).
  • Certification: Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) preferred.
  • Experience: Previous experience in a clinical, school, or healthcare setting is desirable.
