Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments to identify communication and swallowing disorders
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address patient needs
  • Provide evidence-based interventions to improve patient outcomes
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
  • Document patient progress and maintain accurate records
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Speech Pathology or Communication Sciences Disorders from an ASHA-accredited program
  • Current licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist in the state of Virginia
  • Basic Life Support certification
  • Experience working with patients with communication and swallowing disorders
