Anesthesiologist Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Anesthesiologist to join our team at the Louis A. Johnson VA Medical Center in Clarksburg, WV.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality anesthesia care to patients undergoing various surgical procedures. This is a full-time position with a 2-year contract, with options to extend.

Responsibilities
  • Administer anesthesia or clinically supervise Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs)
  • Provide anesthesia care for a variety of surgical procedures, including general, cardiac, ortho, vascular, thoracic, ENT, urologic, and ophthalmologic surgeries
  • Work collaboratively with the surgical team to ensure smooth and efficient surgical procedures
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient care and anesthesia administration
Requirements
  • Citizen of the United States
  • Current, full, and unrestricted license to practice medicine in any state
  • Board Certified/Board Eligible by the American Board of Anesthesiology (ABA)
  • BLS, ACLS certification
  • DEA registration
  • Fluent English language skills
  • Ability to pass Government background security check
