Job Summary:

GDIT is seeking a skilled Logistics Analyst to join our team at Ft. Hood, TX. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for planning and managing logistics movements and warehouse operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the preparation of items for shipment, including assembling, addressing, stamping, and shipping merchandise or material.
  • Receive, unpack, verify, and record incoming merchandise or material, and arrange for the transportation of products to support FSRs in the field.
  • Prepare daily reports for customer and Site POCs, and direct, optimize, and coordinate the full order life cycle of equipment supporting AIE system.
  • Monitor quality, quantity of stock levels, delivery times, transport costs, and efficiency, and utilize spreadsheets to track all RMA transactions.
  • Assist with inventory procedures, including equipment inventory layout, component list inventories, sub hand receipts, and shortage annex procedures, and relocation of equipment and materials.
  • Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and ISO requirements.

Requirements:

  • AA/AS degree or equivalent, with 5+ years of experience (or other combinations of education and experience).
  • Secret Clearance Required.
  • GCSS Army Experience Desired.
  • Helpdesk Ticket handling experience desired.
  • Ability to lift 40lbs, operate a forklift, sit or stand for 8 hours, and support working outside in non-airconditioned work areas.

Additional Information:

The salary range for this position is $49,300 - $66,700, and is subject to change based on experience, geographic location, and contractual requirements.

Work Environment:

40 hours per week, with less than 10% travel required, and onsite work location in USA TX Fort Cavazos Hell on Wheels (TXC077).
