Job Title: Licensed Land Surveyor

Hoskinson Contracting is seeking a highly skilled Licensed Land Surveyor to join our team. As a key member of our surveying team, you will be responsible for conducting land surveys to establish legal boundaries of property, working closely with construction teams to establish reference points and benchmarks for construction projects, and monitoring construction sites to ensure that work is in accordance with project plans and specifications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct land surveys to establish legal boundaries of property
  • Work closely with construction teams to establish reference points and benchmarks for construction projects
  • Monitor construction sites to ensure that work is in accordance with project plans and specifications
  • Research the area or assignment, including previous surveys and boundary lines
  • Prepare and maintain data, charts, plots, records, documents, legal descriptions, sketches, maps, and reports related to land surveys
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Land Surveying or similar field required
  • Licensure by the National Council of Examiners for Engineering and Surveying (NCEES) or comparable certification required
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent mathematical skills to conduct land survey analysis
  • Thorough understanding of the principles, practices, and procedures of land surveying
