Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that our machines are meeting the needs of our customers and that we are staying ahead of the competition.
  • Manage a team of engineers and technicians to develop and implement processes and procedures to ensure high-quality, reliable, and scalable equipment.
  • Conduct research and analysis to identify opportunities for improvement and innovation in additive manufacturing systems.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure that our solutions are at the forefront of the industry.
  • Provide technical support to other teams, including product development and manufacturing, to ensure seamless integration and delivery of our products.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in additive manufacturing engineering or a related field.
  • At least 4 years of experience in automation engineering, materials engineering, or additive manufacturing.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a strong technical knowledge of additive manufacturing system design, development, and implementation.
  • Experience with FDM, WAAM, or other DED processes, as well as strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to practically apply first principles to solve real, complex problems, and experience managing a team of engineers and technicians.
Preferred Skills:
  • Design experience with induction heating.
  • Experience in RND, specifically taking a printing process and print head from 0 to 1.
  • Experience working within a start-up company, with a strong sense of accountability and integrity, and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, driven, and demanding atmosphere, with a creative problem-solving approach and the ability to assess risk and make design and development decisions without all available data.
