Mechanical Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our Shoulder Fired Weapons Group at Nammo Defense Systems, Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the execution of program tasks with guidance from senior engineers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assembly and component analysis to support design
- Support bid and proposal preparation, including scope of work, technical volume, schedules, and budgets
- Support creation of detailed IRAD plans and continuous improvement projects
- Interface with cross-functional program team members to resolve technical issues
- Participate in Change Review Board meetings and Phase Gate Review meetings
Requirements:
- BS/MS in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Chemical Engineering
- 3+ years of industry experience, with Aerospace/Defense industry experience preferred
- Knowledge of closed form, explicit, and finite element analysis
- Knowledge of solid modeling and detail drawing creation
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Ability to obtain BATF approval to work with our products
