Clinical Specialist Job Description

As a Clinical Specialist, you will provide services in residential, vocational, or in-home settings, providing invaluable support to the individuals you serve.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide behavioral support and interventions to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities
  • Develop and implement individualized support plans to promote independence and self-advocacy
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and support
  • Document progress and activity, maintaining confidentiality and adhering to regulatory requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a human services field
  • Two years of related experience
  • Training in behavior modification techniques and/or experience providing behavior management treatment
  • Knowledge of specialized populations and expertise in special disciplines
