Residential Behavior Specialist

The Arc Mercer Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Residential Behavior Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will provide clinical behavior support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in a residential group home setting.
Key Responsibilities- Provide individualized behavioral support to residents, utilizing evidence-based practices and ABA principles.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement behavioral support plans.
- Conduct assessments and gather data to inform behavioral interventions.
- Document behavioral interventions and outcomes through individual progress notes.
- Establish ongoing communication with psychiatric and mental health providers.
- Monitor implementation of Behavioral Support Plans.
- Maintain a flexible schedule to accommodate the varied needs of the program.
- Minimum of 6 months' experience working in Human Services and Developmental Disabilities.
- Experience with adult DDD population and DDD regulations preferred.
- Experience in implementing behavior modification techniques.
- Good interpersonal, organization, and writing skills.
- Ability to define problems, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
