Clinical Operations Specialist

Prime Therapeutics is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Operations Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our clinical operations team, you will play a critical role in developing, implementing, and monitoring clinical specialty programs in the field. Your expertise will be essential in serving as a clinical liaison for assigned Pharmacy contracts, managing overall client relationships, and participating in the development of clinical management products and services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement clinical program enhancements and better practices
- Assist with development, enhancement, and maintenance of operational functions, policy, and clinical support and provider education
- Develop, implement, and monitor project plan requirements and timelines, ensuring all necessary support, tools, and technology are available
- Meet with business process owners and other appropriate personnel to identify project goals, objectives, critical success factors, and success measures
- Work closely with teams to ensure consistent delivery of approved programs to clients
- Ensure operations are standardized at the fullest extent possible
- Provide overall project coordination for contract clinical and operational functions
- Oversee and coordinate implementation of new specialty programs and serve as liaison between the company and customers as needed
- Assist in modifying implementation approaches within budget and operational framework
- Revenue Generation - Work jointly with Account Manager to ensure revenue goals and administrative expenses are managed
- Develop strong relationships with key contacts at client level
- Develop strong relationships and contacts within the company that are supportive of the achievement of increased revenue goals
- Support other functions as requested throughout the program development lifecycle, including finance, outcomes, communications, and IT
- Communicate frequently with clients to report program progress
- Establish priorities and maintain positive client relationships
- Respond to client requests for information
- Assess, investigate, and resolve difficult issues to achieve customer satisfaction
- Maintain contract Preferred Drug List
- Responsible for oversight of all program reporting
- Ensure standard and ad hoc reports are provided accurately and on time
- Support State Drug Utilization Review Boards and Pharmacy and Therapeutics (P&T) Committee
Requirements:
- 3-5 years' experience in clinical operations, quality, network, pharmacy, or project management, or a managed care pharmacy residency
- Proven ability to plan, organize, schedule, direct, control, and monitor project activities
- Well-developed interpersonal skills
- Able to perform basic financial analysis
- Project management experience and knowledge of health plans required
- Provider experience preferred
