About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Informatics Specialist to join our team at Alverno Laboratories. As a key member of our Central Laboratory - Management Information Services team, you will play a critical role in implementing, maintaining, and supporting our Laboratory Information System (LIS) and other software products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze current LIS functionality and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Implement and validate new components of the LIS, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support to our laboratory staff, ensuring a healing environment for employees and patients
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation, procedures, and regulatory compliance
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
  • Minimum five years' experience working in a complex clinical laboratory environment, including four years' experience using and supporting a Laboratory Information System
  • Excellent technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with a strong ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
