Job Title: Hospice Pediatric Team Manager

At The Elizabeth Hospice, we are seeking a compassionate and experienced Hospice Pediatric Team Manager to oversee the delivery of patient/family care across the life span in a defined geographic region.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local health care regulations.
  • Monitor budget variances and drive results.
  • Interview, hire, review, and evaluate clinical staff.
  • Supervise and evaluate the clinical practice and performance of the hospice team.
  • Participate in plan of care decisions and stay informed of treatment and management plans.
  • Supervise the planning, coordination, and delivery of patient/family care for pediatric and perinatal patients.
  • Facilitate Interdisciplinary Group meetings.
  • Support same day admission and registration visits.
  • Establish and nurture relationships with community healthcare professionals.
  • Assign newly admitted patients.
  • Support the planning, coordination, and delivery of patient/family care in the absence of other Team Managers.
  • Collaborate with the Quality and Compliance Department to investigate and resolve quality concerns.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in nursing, healthcare administration, or business administration.
  • 3+ years healthcare management experience with 2 years hospice supervisory responsibilities.
  • Current CA RN licensure required.
  • Certification in hospice preferred.
  • Proficient in electronic documentation and basic computer skills.
