Sales and Service Representative

Job Summary:
The Sales & Service Associate will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences, efficiently handling sales and service transactions, identifying financial needs, and recommending products and services to improve the financial well-being of clients. This role requires a thorough understanding of bank products and services, as well as bank policies and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:- Build and Expand Banking Relationships: Proactively engage with customers to understand their financial needs and provide personalized solutions.
- Service, Acquire, and Deepen Customer Relationships: Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, identifying opportunities to increase sales and improve customer satisfaction.
- Meet Sales and Servicing Goals: Achieve individual and team sales and servicing targets, driving business growth and revenue.
- Develop Business and Support Servicing Needs: Identify and address customer needs, providing expert advice and guidance to ensure their financial well-being.
- Adapt to Office Needs: Provide customer service in both transaction processing and sales roles, adapting to the needs of the office and customers.
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent business experience.
- Prior Experience: 1+ years of financial services experience in retail banking, with a demonstrated ability to process transactions and execute an advice-led approach with customers.
- Education: Bachelor's Degree.
- Prior Experience: 3+ years of financial services experience in retail banking, with a demonstrated ability to process transactions and execute a consultative advice-led approach with customers, successfully opening new accounts.
- Excellent Communication Skills: Proven ability to personalize features and benefits of products/services to customers with varying needs.
- Demonstrated Knowledge of Bank Products and Services: Thorough understanding of all bank products and services, with the ability to accurately process deposits and lending applications and account opening transactions.
- Familiar Advice-Led Consultative Approach: Experience engaging customers and offering solutions using an advice-led consultative approach.
- Ability to Acquire New Customers: Experience acquiring new customers and opening new business following operational procedures and requirements.
- Experience with Banking Systems and Platforms: Familiarity with banking systems and platforms, with the ability to learn and utilize new technology effectively and efficiently.
- Able to Regularly Stand for Prolonged Periods: Ability to regularly stand for prolonged periods of time.
- Able to Regularly Lift 1-10 lbs., Occasionally Lifting to 30 lbs.: Ability to regularly lift 1-10 lbs., occasionally lifting to 30 lbs.
- Able to Travel Between Office Locations: Ability to travel between office locations.
- Extensive Computer Usage: Extensive computer usage is required.
- Moderate to Extensive Phone Usage: Moderate to extensive phone usage is required.
Additional Requirements:
- Work Schedule: Varies with office needs and may include evenings and weekends.
- Licenses or Accreditation: Registration with Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System Registry (NMLS) is required in accordance with SAFE Act requirements.
