RFQ/RFP/PO:
  • Generate requests for quotes/proposals (RFQ/RFP) to potential suppliers.
  • Issue Purchase Orders for all acquired services and products.
  • Negotiate long-term purchase agreements with vendors.
Strategic Sourcing & Cost Management:
  • Examine market trends to identify opportunities for cost savings.
  • Formulate and execute sourcing strategies that align with the organization's objectives.
  • Pursue initiatives aimed at reducing costs while maintaining quality and delivery standards.
Liaison:
  • Serve as a point of contact between suppliers and relevant departments to address procurement-related issues.
  • Handle requests for non-conforming materials and return merchandise authorizations with supply chain partners.
Supplier Development:
  • Establish and nurture relationships with key suppliers.
  • Contribute to the Supplier Development process by assessing supplier performance and facilitating improvements in cost, quality, and delivery.
  • Engage with suppliers to ensure awareness of their performance and identify areas for enhancement.
Continuous Improvement:
  • Lead or participate in initiatives aimed at continuous improvement within the organization.
Skills and Requirements:
  • Must comply with ITAR regulations.
  • Familiarity with quality standards such as AS9100, ISO, and NADCAP is preferred.
  • Experience with Kanban and Consignment Inventory Management Processes is advantageous.
  • Exceptional Communication Skills: Strong oral and written communication abilities are essential, along with effective interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient negotiation and contract management capabilities.
  • Strong computer skills in a Windows environment.
  • Ability to align with the organization's goals and values.
  • Adaptability to changing conditions and persistence in overcoming challenges.
  • Capacity to work independently and maintain professionalism.
