Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join our maintenance team at MeritHall Inc.

The ideal candidate will have 5 years of experience in diagnosing, rebuilding, and repairing mechanical systems of heavy equipment. A CDL Class A license is required, as well as excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and repair complex mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems of heavy operating equipment.
  • Perform regular maintenance and repairs on construction equipment, trucks, trailers, and tools.
  • Order parts from vendors and maintain accurate records and reports.
  • Conduct inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure equipment is in good working condition.

Required Qualifications:

  • At least 5 years of experience in heavy equipment repair.
  • CDL Class A license required.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Familiarity with Caterpillar equipment.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.

Compensation:

This is a full-time position offering a competitive salary of $35-$42 per hour, plus health insurance. The expected hours are 40-60 per week.
