About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Animal Care Technician to join our team at Christensen Farms. As an Animal Care Technician, you will be responsible for providing top-notch care to our pig herd, ensuring their health and well-being. This is a full-time position that requires a strong work ethic and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide daily care to our pig herd, including feeding, watering, and monitoring their health
- Assist with vaccinations and health programs to maintain the herd's overall health
- Perform artificial insemination and attend to farrowing sows
- Maintain accurate records of sow health and vaccination programs
