Job OverviewWe are seeking a passionate and dedicated full-time Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our dynamic team in Parker, Colorado. The COTA will work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to provide exceptional therapy services to pediatric clients in our outpatient clinic setting.
Responsibilities:- Provide Direct Therapy Services: Provide direct occupational therapy services to pediatric clients under the supervision of a licensed occupational therapist.
- Evaluate and Assess Clients: Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments to determine clients' strengths, needs, and areas of focus.
- Develop Treatment Plans: Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and interventions to address clients' occupational therapy goals.
- Collaborate with Therapy Team: Collaborate with other members of the therapy team, including occupational therapists, physical therapists, speech therapists, and behavioral therapists, to ensure coordinated and holistic care.
- Monitor Progress and Document: Monitor and document clients' progress, adjust treatment plans as needed, and communicate effectively with clients, families, and caregivers.
- Credentials: Associate's degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program, current certification as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) issued by the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT), and valid licensure as a COTA in the state of Colorado.
- Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with clients, families, and interdisciplinary team members.
- Pediatric Experience: Commitment to providing compassionate and client-centered care to pediatric clients and their families.
FYZICAL Therapy and Balance Centers offers a competitive salary range of $62,000 - $72,000 per year, plus benefits including medical, dental, and vision insurance, retirement matching, accrued PTO, guaranteed paid holidays, CEU Reimbursement Fund, opportunities for professional development and continuing education in house, and a supportive and collaborative work environment.
