Job Summary

This role involves providing tailored plans of care to enhance motor function, improve balance and coordination, and promote overall physical development in children with neurological conditions, developmental delays, and other challenges. You will have the opportunity to work with young athletes and children recovering from orthopedic and sports injuries, helping them regain strength, flexibility, and confidence.

Responsibilities
  • Provide patient care in accordance with established protocols and patient care guidelines.
  • Evaluate patients' strength, motor development, sensory perception, functional capacity, and respiratory and circulatory efficiency, and record findings to develop or revise treatment programs.
  • Plan and prepare written treatment programs based on evaluation of patient data.
  • Administer manual exercises to improve and maintain function, instruct, motivate, and assist patients to perform various physical activities, and provide education on proper use of assistive devices.
  • Evaluate the effects of treatment at various stages and adjust treatment to achieve maximum benefit.
