Position Overview

The Revenue Cycle Specialist is essential in ensuring the effective and precise management of revenue generation processes within our financial services and wealth management firm. This role is responsible for overseeing various components of the revenue cycle, including billing, collections, and account reconciliation. The ideal candidate will have a robust understanding of financial operations, a keen eye for detail, and strong problem-solving abilities. This position will encompass the entire revenue cycle and will collaborate closely with client-facing financial advisory teams, accounting, and compliance departments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Generate all invoices for assigned teams and oversee the billing queue throughout the month.
  • Manage adjustments for upcoming months and communicate deadlines with teams.
  • Monitor and verify account changes for invoice accuracy each billing period, including:
    • New clients
    • New accounts
    • Billed/non-billed accounts and assets
    • Closed/transferred accounts
  • Notify teams of account cash requirements per billing period, confirming all cash balances before processing fees at custodians.
  • Prepare and upload fees to custodians.
  • Confirm payments and finalize monthly invoices.
  • Identify and investigate discrepancies, ensuring accurate and up-to-date account information.
  • Spot opportunities for process enhancement.
  • Provide revenue reconciliation reports to teams at month-end, detailing revenue received and outstanding invoices.
  • Adhere to all relevant financial regulations and compliance standards.
  • Stay updated on industry best practices.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field is preferred.
  • One year or more of relevant experience in the financial services industry, preferably in revenue cycle management.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and Salesforce CRM.
