Position Overview:
As a Sanitation and Safety Technician, you play a vital role in ensuring that every patient, staff member, and visitor enjoys a safe and clean environment. We are looking for dedicated individuals to maintain pristine surroundings, enhance indoor and outdoor spaces, and contribute to nourishing meals that support the well-being of all we serve.
This advanced role involves maintaining cleanliness and safety in critical areas such as Operating Rooms, GI Labs, and Sterile Processing units, adhering to established protocols and standards. Your commitment to excellent customer service will be essential when interacting with patients, visitors, and fellow staff members. A solid understanding of cleaning practices in specialized areas like Emergency Departments and Operating Rooms is required.
Qualifications:
To be considered for this position, candidates should possess the following:
- A minimum of six months of experience in institutional or commercial cleaning.
- Completion of a competency checklist or equivalent experience in a similar setting.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to read, write, and speak English. Basic computer skills are also necessary.
- A High School Diploma or GED is preferred.
Physical Requirements:
This role involves medium work, requiring the ability to exert up to 50 lbs of force occasionally, up to 20 lbs frequently, and up to 10 lbs constantly.
