Job Opportunity

A leading contractor in North Dakota seeks a skilled Project Engineer/Assistant Project Manager to join their team. This role involves assisting in the overall management of projects from inception to completion, including planning, organizing, and controlling coordination activities, contract and subcontract negotiations, and providing information and ongoing communication to team members.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date job-specific records.
  • Collaborate with the Project Manager to ensure proper execution of subcontracts and purchase orders.
  • Assist the Superintendent and PM in arranging for and coordinating all requirements for mobilization.
  • Process Change Orders, Proposed Change Orders, submittals, RFI's, transmittals.
  • Ensure project administration meets quality requirements.
  • Work with the PM to ensure coordination drawings are completed as required by the Contract documents and submitted timely.
  • Assist the PM in managing closeout activities such as inspections, punch lists, permits, certificate of occupancy, and archiving of project files.

Requirements:
  • Minimum of Associate's degree in Construction Management, Civil engineering, or a related field; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in construction management.
