Job Summary

As the Mashed Potato Line Assistant, you will have the opportunity to work on multiple different lines frying potato product. You will assist the Operator with a variety of job functions, tasks, and job duties. You will operate all related production equipment in a safe and efficient manner and contribute to the production of our quality products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform daily sanitation at assigned area.
  • Assist operator with changeover responsibilities and equipment set up.
  • Operate forklift.
  • Perform factory and fryer clean-ups, to include high pressure blasting and sanitation.
  • Maintain lab equipment and perform testing.
  • Transport totes, product, and waste, while maintaining information in the computer.
Qualifications

You will need to be able to read and understand and communicate safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. You will also need to be able to solve practical problems and comprehend and communicate in Basic English and interact with all levels of the organization.

Physical Demands

The job requires constant walking, bending at the waist, squatting, kneeling, and twisting at the neck and waist. You will also need to be able to walk up and down a flight of stairs.
