Our stamping facility is in search of a Press Operator to join our team. We provide a stable, collaborative environment, fully covered medical premiums, and a positive work atmosphere. The role involves operating the line safely and efficiently by adhering to setups, directing the line, and ensuring a high standard of quality and productivity in line with company, customer, and product specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure proper machine setup in accordance with specifications and requirements.
- Guide the assistant in monitoring the process, tagging and banding finished coils, and offloading completed coils.
- Document production activities as required.
- Perform all other related tasks as assigned.
- Continuously monitor the press process to guarantee machine accuracy and speed.
- Take proactive measures to prevent any non-conformities related to product, process, and quality systems.
- Identify and log any issues concerning the product, process, and quality systems.
- Recommend or provide solutions through the appropriate channels.
- Verify the implementation of proposed solutions.
- Control further processing, delivery, or installation of nonconforming products until deficiencies are rectified.
- Represent customer needs in internal functions to address quality system requirements.
- Carry out other related duties as assigned.
- A minimum of 1 year of relevant experience is required.
- A High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred.
