Job Title: Quality Control Inspector

Astronics is seeking a Quality Control Inspector to ensure the quality and integrity of our products. As a Quality Control Inspector, you will be responsible for conducting inspections and testing to ensure that our products meet the required standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct inspections and testing to ensure product quality and integrity
  • Use and interpret work instructions and associated documents to ensure conformity of product
  • Perform final inspection of the product
  • Ensure all assigned inspections are properly completed in compliance with established policies and procedures
  • Identify areas for improvement and participate in continuous improvement projects
  • Prepare accepted product for use by appropriately labeling product to indicate status and printing unique device identification labels as necessary
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • At least 2 years' experience in Quality Inspection role
  • Proficient in all aspects of inspection including using and maintaining all inspection equipment
  • Experience with reading inspection processes and interpreting engineering drawings required
  • Expertise in the application and use of gauges and inspection equipment
  • Strong communication, organizational, documentation and time management skills
  • Analytical, logical thought process and meticulous attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as a member of the Quality team and other cross-functional teams as required
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite with the ability to learn various manufacturing software systems
Working Environment:

The work environment is moderate with occasional standing, walking, sitting, using hands and or arms to pull handles and push buttons and reaching objects. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Compensation:

$18.50/hr to $24.50/hr. Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
