About the Role:

We are looking for a dedicated and passionate nurse educator to develop and implement clinical education programs that foster high-quality care and promote evidence-based practice. As a Staff Nurse Educator, you will work closely with our education team to design and deliver training programs that meet the needs of our clinical staff.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement clinical education programs that align with CMS Triple Aim framework and address patient-centered needs.
  • Collaborate with education staff to develop an annual training calendar and ensure a coordinated approach to ongoing programs.
  • Manage implementation of clinical staff development programs, including orientation, in-services, training, and other learning activities.
  • Review program-specific educational program outcomes and program evaluations to determine areas for improvement and make recommendations for change and/or new programs.
  • Train and/or oversee training of new and current staff in VNS Health/program philosophy, policy, standards, procedures, documentation, models for service delivery, and efficient, productive, cost-effective work processes.
Requirements:
  • Current license and registration to practice as a Registered Professional Nurse.
  • CM certification (Certified Care Management) preferred.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or equivalent work experience required.
  • Master's Degree in Nursing required.
  • Minimum four years' experience in a community-based or long-term home health setting, including at least two years with a primary focus on education and training.
  • Medicare experience strongly preferred.
