Fingerprint Classification Clerk

Rose International is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to fill a position as a Fingerprint Classification Clerk. As a member of our team, you will play a critical role in processing fingerprint-based national criminal history checks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Enter, edit, and delete data within the Computerized Criminal History (CCH) system and Federal criminal history databases with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Operate an Automated Fingerprint Identification System (AFIS) Livescan machine to process applicant criminal history inquiries.
  • Scan and biographical data entry for fingerprints submitted by mail from out-of-state applicants and update information in the CCH database.
  • Operate BCI's Quick Search two-finger scan to match fingerprints with existing records in the AFIS system.
  • Provide exceptional customer service at BCI's front window, including processing State criminal history checks.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Excellent Computer Skills
  • Customer Service Experience
  • Criminal Justice and Criminal Identification Procedures knowledge (preferred but not mandatory)
  • Data Entry Experience
  • Excellent Organization Skills
