Job Summary: We are looking for a detail-oriented Grant Operations Specialist to join our team at Weill Cornell Medical College. This individual will provide administrative and financial support to principal investigators in managing their research portfolios, including grant applications, budgets, and related documentation. The successful candidate will have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

About the Role:
In this position, you will be responsible for assisting principal investigators with preparation and development of grant applications, managing grant transfers, coordinating with the Office of Sponsored Research Administration, and performing variance analysis of budgets and expenditures. You will also maintain accurate records and track variances. Additionally, you will work closely with the contracts office and accounts payable to set up and manage subcontracts and expense payments.

Key Responsibilities:
* Assist principal investigators with preparation and development of all administrative aspects of grant applications, including but not limited to budgets and budget justifications
* Assist principal investigators in preparation and submission of grant-related documentation
* Maintain repository of biosketches, support pages, and facilities & other resources forms

Requirements:
* Bachelor's Degree
* Five years of experience with grants management
* Master's degree in business, public administration, or public health highly preferred

Salary: $97,300 - $114,700 per year. Location: Midtown.
